"An idle mind is a devils workshop,isn't it??"             This was back then. But as the time passes, interpretation of these quotes change as well. Let’s try to understand this considering the various stages of a human’s life starting from the childhood to adolescence and finally the old age.                                 No one actually knows what is going on in a kids mind. Moods can be easily understood but not the thought process. Even if the kid is sitting idle or there is a pause in the flow of thoughts, the idle mind can’t be turned into a devil’s workshop as the mind is still in the process of growth and it hardly knows anything about a devil or the evil stuff around.             It was just a matter of time. The birds seemed to be desperate to reach their destination and so did we. In the meanwhile, the dim twilight started fading and it was dull and gloomy around in a short span of time. Our destination was almost 130 kilometers away. The traffic and unknown roads made sure it took us at least five hours to reach our destination. As time passed, all of us started feeling drowsy, as there was darkness all around and nothing interesting to watch out for. All the cell phones had drained their batteries and the only source of light we had was the one coming from the vehicles passing by. Most of us fell asleep as our destination was still too far. We have the power to alter our perceptions, revising perceptions that bring us down and enhancing those that help us. Our outlook on life is deeply entwined in our prosperity for success. Success is doing what we love and being happy about it. To learn how to get a better handle on our perceptions, emotions and behaviour, it is useful to look at how we think. To forge a new attitude towards the events and relationships in our life, we must learn to look at them with fresh perspective. We generally like to think we are in charge of our actions. Society has a stake in us believing that, or there would be no way to justify restraining and punishing people with anti-social behaviours. It started off in the early December’15 and went quiet for a while and then came as a blessing in the mid-January’16. When things seemed to have settled down, there was a surprise call which said, “You have been shortlisted for the interview.” For a moment I was awestruck and couldn’t respond to it, but then yeah, I had a feeling of something good was going to happen and it did. The short listing was on the PAN India basis and being among the few from all over the country is a great feeling in itself. ION T rading; that was the company we were going to give a shot at. The best part of it was that it was supposed to be held in Noida office and all the expenses of the students appearing for the interview would be borne by the company itself. Adding to that, it was a blessing in disguise for a person like me who loved travelling. “Republic day!” The national festival which is celebrated throughout India irrespective of caste, religion or creed. On this day all of us are bound by a single feeling that is “ the feeling of patriotism. ” The feeling of patriotism is presented by different people in different ways. Some people try painting their face with the colors of Indian flag whereas some try out bikes rallies. It just doesn’t end here… A few people have a formal celebration by having a flag hoisting ceremony followed by the playing of the national anthem while a few enjoy it as a national holiday and the list goes on. When I come across the national festival the first thought that strikes my mind is that are we really patriotic or it’s just a show off? It’s really worth giving a thought.
