Blast from the past for the future cast

It is said that when in doubt, take a pause, look out and if needed do not hesitate to take a step back because stepping back doesn't always mean defeat. It is always better to give a little time rather than taking a wild decision and regret later.

"The lion always takes a step back before pouncing on its prey."

Lion, in spite of being one of the laziest animals everyone wants to be a lion. It is because people have a really good image of the king. No matter how good other animals are, lions are the best, if you want to set high expectations from anyone. Most of the times we have lions, tigers, elephants, monkeys and other animals setting up pretty good examples, but last night it was an ant that actually taught me the same lesson that the lion did in the previous context.

Generally we look up to ants as an example when the talk  is about 'Never Give Up', but we can actually have a different perspective of the same, where let's assume an ant stuck up in a sand dune. Ant puts in all the effort and manages to come out of it. When u pour sand onto the ant, even then it fights back, this was an instance of never give up, but in the same context if you push the ant behind, ant will either come charging at you like a tank in the battlefield or it pretends to turn away and go back, but after taking a couple of steps it turns back and again charges towards you, this is where it steps back and then charges. This is the same case when you put an obstacle in front of the ant, it will somehow find a way out of it.

The same applies to us. In life there are many instances where we are stuck in the quicksand of decisions that, we try pushing hard not knowing that the harder we try the deeper we get stuck in it.

In the pursuit of coming out of the quicksand, and not turning it into a quagmire, I decided to dwell a little into the past, and check out on a few things that had gone wrong. In the process, I realized that, there was nothing much that had gone wrong, but the hesitation of stepping back for a while did cause a few minor troubles that actually lead to the formation of the quicksand.

From my perspective, it actually feels good when you are stuck up in the thought process of coming out of the quicksand, but only if you are willing to learn things out of it. If you dwell into past for regrets, no doubt the quicksand will soon turn into a quagmire.

Learn from the past, Because that's not the last,
No matter if things are fast, the present is to last,
Blast from the past, because the future is to cast.



Well, another year from our lifespan bites the dust. A new beginning, a new year, let's start it on a positive note and hope for the best. Wishing you all a very happy and a prosperous new year!!

"An idle mind is a devils workshop,isn't it??"             This was back then. But as the time passes, interpretation of these quotes change as well. Let’s try to understand this considering the various stages of a human’s life starting from the childhood to adolescence and finally the old age.                                 No one actually knows what is going on in a kids mind. Moods can be easily understood but not the thought process.
