Watching Cartoons Ain't a Bad Idea!

Cartoons…!! What do most of the children watch on the television? Children like to watch cartoons even before they start to speak! Do you know why? I think because of the funny and different figures of animals and humans which they have pictured in various forms.

Cartoons as well give a social message to people in the form of a fun filled art!! They might also provoke an idea by using fun faces. This helps you to become futuristic and optimistic as well.

They come in all shapes, sizes, colors and attitude. Every cartoon we watch has a learning and a few lessons for life.  They are without doubt the most entertaining aspect of childhood.

 As the time passed by, the ability to make use of common sense in humans (most of them) is reduced to a great extent. Common sense is no more common. We seldom see people using it. Donald Duck a famous Disney character sums this up very well in one of the cartoon shows as:

"I have to stop saying 'How stupid can you be' I think people are starting to take it as a challenge."
                                                                                              -Donald Duck

Well..... That very well defines the humans of present. The competition around has got on us so much that we don't realize that we have something called common sense and start doing things so recklessly that it ends up in we being so stupid that they start messing up even simplest of things and complicated things end up as dreams.

It's not just the episodes, but most of the theme songs of cartoons are very inspiring as well. Let's take an example of the theme song of Pokémon: Black and White. This, I guess, very well defines the journey of each and every individual at each and every stage of his life (especially if one desires to be an entrepreneur).

Pokemon: Black and White theme song:

It's always hard,
When the journey begins.
Hard to find your way;
Hard to make amends.
But there's nothing you can't do,
'Cause you've got the power inside of you.

It's never easy,
To make a choice:
To keep things inside,
Or raise your voice.
But for everyone there comes a time
When the light inside begins to shine.

It's not always right or wrong,
As long as your spirit's strong.
It's not always win or lose,
It's the road you choose;
The answer's within.

It's not always black and white,
But your heart always knows what's right.
But let the journey begin—

So many choices;
How do we know?
So many places;
Where do we go?
What should I say?
What should I do?
Still, we're together: me and you!

It's not always right or wrong,
As long as your spirit's strong.
It's not always win or lose,
It's the road you choose;
The answer's within.

It's not always black and white,
But your heart always knows what's right.
But let the journey begin:
Pokémon!

There's nothing you can't do,
'Cause you've got the power inside of you.
It's not always right or wrong,
As long as your spirit's strong.
It's not always win or lose,
It's the road you choose;
The answer's within.

It's not always black and white,
But your heart always knows what's right.
Let the journey begin:
Pokémon!

You talk about will, grit, determination, patience, love, life etc... They have got it all for you. Here are a few really cool quotes from famous cartoon characters:

"Even miracles take time." -Cinderella
"Some people are worth melting for"-Olaf (Frozen)
"You are never too old to be young"-Snow White
"I can't go back yesterday-because I was totally a different person then"-Alice
"To laugh at yourself is to love yourself"-Mickey Mouse

                                                           ......... And the list goes on and on and on.....

No matter what the age is, cartoons are always fun. It just doesn't end with that, they add up to our imagination. Just like a flower blooms from the bud, our thought process starts flourishing as well. It's nourishment to our imagination power. Even the greats like Stephen Hawking loved cartoons. So, why should we back down from watching them just because people say they are meant for kids?

“I like physics, but I love cartoons.” -Stephen Hawking
"Be yourself, no one can say you're doing it wrong!!"
