Power & Pride go hand in hand !!

It was early morning and everything seemed to be going on as per the plan.The routine works continued...
Amidst all the work, a thought struck my mind.
****************
A wild and a weird thought.
****************
What will happen to us if we are given all the power in the world ?

Powers- what could they do ?? Does it cause harm ?? If powers are given what will we gain ?? Will we lose some thing ??
........ and the thoughts came pouring in.

When the thought were lingering in my mind the state of my mind was something like :

 In the beginning I felt that it was useless to think over it, but then I heard my sub conscious mind murmur to me to give it a try and so I did.
 It is believed that when a person thinks of power, and when he is given the power, he tends to become a puppet in the hands of power and stops thinking and caring for things. The person gets bound to all his powers to such an extent that he becomes proud of his powers and in the end this pride turns out to be the ultimate reason for his downfall.
There is a small quotation written in Hindi which says:
                                                 " Ahankar me teen gaye;
                                                   Dhan,vaibhav aur vansh;
                                                   Na maano toh dekh lo;
                                                   Ravan,Kaurav aur Kans."

 The above four lines say that how the pride of power(money, luxury,race) led to the downfall of three great powers Ravan, Kauravas and Kans.

When a person has no powers, just a single evil thought can create disasters, if such a person is given the powers, the world will turn into a place which could be quoted nothing less than hell.
It is we who want freedom and sometimes we even wish if we could fly...
But do we ever think that aren't we the same people who are responsible for misusing the freedom. Almost everyone on this planet wants to have the power as the Almighty but none wants to make proper use of it. People here are more bothered about what they do not have rather than what they have. This leads to improper use of the resources and collections of extra unnecessary stuff with them which is of least use.

"Power" is the most dangerous thing a person could ever have, but it could be the best thing if it was kept under control. It is good to have power but....but...only to the extent it is needed. The control over it is just a matter of flipping a coin, it could turn a place into a hell or heaven. So, the best solution is to see that the coin is never flipped in the air for the toss so that the "Pride of Power" never starts dominating a person.

                                          "Everything happens at the right time, be patient."

This quote struck my mind and I realized that it was waste of thinking too much and just came out of my imagination.
And then I realized that, if "POWER"; being a mere word, could bring such evil thoughts which couldn't be penned down, just think, what would happen if it was given to us??
