It's all a matter of Perspective

            It was just a matter of time. The birds seemed to be desperate to reach their destination and so did we. In the meanwhile, the dim twilight started fading and it was dull and gloomy around in a short span of time. Our destination was almost 130 kilometers away. The traffic and unknown roads made sure it took us at least five hours to reach our destination. As time passed, all of us started feeling drowsy, as there was darkness all around and nothing interesting to watch out for. All the cell phones had drained their batteries and the only source of light we had was the one coming from the vehicles passing by. Most of us fell asleep as our destination was still too far. As the time progressed there seemed to be increased silence as well. The only sound that could be heard was of our car. The increased silence in the surroundings, for a moment, scared us . We had no clue of the type of road that was ahead of us and it gave an impression that it was seldom prefe
